The Dalton Horse Show is recognized by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Horseman's Association (NPHA). Every class offered that is covered by the current rules and specifications of the organization will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. USA Equestrian rules will govern the conduct of all other classes offered.

General Rules
1. A CURRENT NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST DATED 1/1/2008 OR LATER IS REQUIRED. BE PREPARED TO SHOW THIS PAPER TO THE SHOW SECRETARY IF YOUR HORSE'S NAME IS NOT ON NPHA'S LIST.

2. The judge's decisions are final. Address questions to the steward.

3. There will be a one (1) minute ring call for each class. This will be strictly enforced. Failure to respond will result in elimination. The Secretaries' stand must be notified of all tack changes or any possible class conflicts.

4. All person mounted on a horse/pony must wear protective headgear.

5. This show will be run under current NPHA and USEF rules. All NPHA classes are pointed for year-end awards. Class specifications are posted in the secretaries' Tent. (*) Classes are not NPHA pointed.

6. The Dalton Fire Company, Inc. and the show committee, officials, staff, and NPHA will not be responsible for any injury, damage, or loss to any person, horse, or property incurred on the grounds. Show Management reserves the right to make any adjustments necessary for the show to run in a timely manner.

7. The Main Ring is 125' x 215' with post and rail fencing. The Outside Course is 150' x 225' with new PVC fencing. BOTH RINGS HAVE ALL - WEATHER SAND FOOTING.

Entry Fees & Notes
Entries will be accepted on the day of the show up to the start of each class.
$15.00 - Per class except for classes listed below
$20.00 - All stake classes
$25.00 - Children/Adult Jumper classes
$50.00 - "Put Up or Shut Up" Jumper Stake

NO REFUND OF ENTRY FEES WITHOUT VET CERTIFICATE.

Official Photographer - Hoof Prints will be on the show grounds to take photographs of exhibitors. Please register the day of the show. Prints will be ready day of the show.

Handicapped Access - Handicapped parking and restrooms are located by the VIP Parking area.

Stake Payback - To enter a stake class, the exhibitor must enter the entire division. If there are four (4) entries or less, only first place will be paid. Stake classes will payback as follows:
$1500 Prize Money: 1st - $1000; 2nd through 6th - $50
$500 Prize Money: 1st - $200; 2nd - $125; 3rd - $75; 4th - $50; 5th - $25; 6th - $20
$400 Prize Money: 1st - $160; 2nd - $100; 3rd - $60; 4th - $40; 5th - $20; 6th - $20
$300 Prize Money: 1st - $125; 2nd - $75; 3rd - $45; 4th - $25; 5th - $15; 6th - $15
$250 Prize Money: 1st - $100; 2nd - $65; 3rd - $40; 4th - $25; 5th - $15; 6th - $15
